Two nonprofit colleagues have recently contacted me about Joomla support.  They didn’t want me to provide it, they wanted to know if I knew anyone who did.  Here’s the summary of the responses I got from my linkedin, Facebook, and the progressive-exchange network queries.

Hello –
I was forwarded your message from a friend/colleague of mine at the nonprofit Save Our Wild Salmon.  I have been the webmaster for a major non-profit ($12M income in 2011) for almost nine years, working with Joomla for the past several years.  I primarily work with non-profit organizations, providing web and technical assistance at a reasonable non-profit rate.
I have recently begun to expand my business to take on new clients.  I am currently working with several small non-profits/business to upgrade/create Joomla 2.5 websites.
I would be interested in learning more about this work opportunity.  You may forward my e-mail address calvin@starlightinternet.com and phone number (510) 470-1161.
Thank you very much.
Hi Shabbir,
I got this email forwarded by a friend/colleague, and thought I would offer my services. I have a small web development shop in NYC,
and we do support/maintenance of exactly the type you mentioned in your email to a numb of clients.
Some of the clients we support are, for instance:
www.corporette.com (WordPress)
We charge $75/hour for these services, and we have a dedicated person who handles their accounts. We can do everything from putting
up content to style/css tweaks to hard core development if needed.
Might this kind of service meet your clients’ needs?
Thanks!
Best,
Ben
