I love to write, and I love to teach.   And I’m a passably good writer.   So my contribution to the world is to take what I know about analytics and write it down with as close to step by step instructions as possible.   When I first started doing this, a little voice in the back of my head said, “All you’re doing is giving people enough information so that they won’t have to hire you.”

Contrary to my suspicions, I haven’t been short of work ever since.  It turns out that the reason a lot of organizations don’t have analytics programs is that they don’t have that sort of leadership within the organization, or a person with the right sort of mindset and marketing experience to make it a priority.  So I can tell you a great deal about how to setup your analytics program and you will still probably need my help.  At least, that’s why I still appear to put food on the table.
